Manheim, part of Cox Automotive, seeks an Arbitrator I to learn and apply arbitration processes, resolve customer claims, and prevent repeat issues. You will collaborate with buyers, sellers, and dealers to coordinate returns and claims, guided from day one to develop judgment and decision-making skills.

You will review disputes, negotiate outcomes within authority, and maintain case files while communicating with customers to secure satisfactory resolutions.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required with minimal related experience (<2 years).
• Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fluid environment.

Responsabilidades

• Review customer claims to verify compliance with Manheim’s policies and guidelines.
• Investigate basic, less complex cases and those requiring prescriptive decisions.
• Coordinate with multiple departments during fact-finding and investigation phases.
• Utilize available resources to inspect, document, and communicate actions needed for resolution.
• Apply appropriate levels of financial authority to resolve cases.
• Prepare and facilitate resolution communications via telephone, email, and in person.
• Mediates disputes and negotiates repair or pricing to reach mutual agreement.
• Maintain accurate case files with invoices and settlement documents.
• Escalate to supervisor/manager when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
