Job summary

Rithum is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automation scripts and end-to-end IT workflows. You will work with Okta, Entra ID, Intune, Jamf, and Microsoft 365 to streamline provisioning, access, and collaboration across teams.

You will use AI tools to improve scripting efficiency, ensure auditable processes, and produce secure documentation. This role supports a remote-first culture with occasional travel and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT systems administration or related technical role with automation scripting experience.
• Hands-on scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience administering or supporting enterprise identity, collaboration, and productivity platforms (AD, Entra ID, Okta, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Teams).
• Experience using AI tools to boost productivity through research, communication, analysis, documentation, and automation.
• Located in United States Central or Mountain time zone, with related working hours.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation scripts and workflows (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Design, build, and own automated workflows for user lifecycle, device provisioning, and identity lifecycle.
• Instrument automations with logging and alerting to enable auditability and metrics.
• Translate manual IT operations into reliable, documented automated solutions.
• Use AI tools to accelerate script development and troubleshoot automation failures.
• Document technical solutions to be secure and maintainable across the IT org.
• Collaborate with Service Desk, Infrastructure Engineering, and Info Security to deploy workflows.
