Job summary

Rithum is seeking an IT Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automation scripts and workflows that streamline IT service delivery and provisioning. You will work with Okta, Entra ID, Intune, Jamf, and other platforms, ensuring auditable, reliable automation across the organization.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted productivity, collaboration with Service Desk, and on‑call rotations. Remote-friendly, with a base pay range and discretionary bonus aligned to market data.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT systems administration, service desk, or related technical role with automation scripting.
• Hands-on experience administering enterprise identity, collaboration, and productivity platforms (AD, Entra ID, Okta, M365, Slack, Zoom, Teams).
• Experience adapting or troubleshooting automation, scripts, or workflows to resolve moderately complex issues.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity in research, communication, analysis, documentation, automation, and decisions.
• Located in US Central or Mountain time zone; on-call rotation experience.
• Remote work experience in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation scripts and workflows (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Own automated workflows across user lifecycle, device provisioning, and identity management with Okta, Entra ID, Intune, Jamf.
• Instrument automations with logging/alerts to measure hours saved and errors reduced.
