Job summary

Rithum is seeking an IT Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automation scripts and workflows across IT services, identity, and collaboration platforms. This role emphasizes AI-assisted development and reliable operations in a remote-first environment.

You will partner with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and InfoSec to reduce manual work, implement auditable processes, and support production systems. Applicants should be in US Central or Mountain time and able to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

2+ years in IT systems administration or related role.
Hands-on automation scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
Experience administering identity and collaboration platforms (AD, Okta, MS 365, Slack, Zoom, Teams).
Experience using AI tools to improve productivity.
Experience with on-call rotations and cross-team collaboration.
Located in United States Central or Mountain time zone.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain automation scripts and workflows for IT service delivery and systems administration.
Develop automated workflows across user lifecycle with Okta, Entra ID, Intune, Jamf, and API integrations.
Instrument automations with logging and alerting for auditable, measurable outcomes.
Translate manual processes into repeatable, documented automated solutions.
Use AI tools to accelerate script development and document solutions.
