Job summary

Rithum is seeking an IT Automation Engineer for its Business Technology team in a remote-capable role based in the US. You will design, build, and maintain automation scripts, focusing on IT service delivery, device provisioning, and identity management across Okta, Entra ID, and other platforms.

You will work with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Information Security to automate repetitive tasks, improve reliability, and cut manual effort.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT systems administration or service desk with automation scripting.
• Experience administering enterprise identity and collaboration platforms.
• Experience adapting automation/scripts to resolve moderately complex issues.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity.
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools with portfolio or project evidence.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automation scripts and workflows across IT service delivery and administration tasks.
• Own automated workflows across user lifecycle and identity provisioning using existing platforms and APIs.
• Instrument automations with logging and alerting to ensure auditable accountability.
• Translate manual IT operations into reliable automated solutions and adapt scripts for evolving business needs.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, troubleshoot failures, and draft technical documentation.
• Administer and monitor platforms like Active Directory, Okta, Entra ID, Intune, Jamf, and Tanium.
• Support collaboration platforms such as M365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Teams.
• Resolve Windows/macOS issues via queue and on-call escalations as needed.
• Document solutions to align with IT and Security standards and policies.
• Collaborate with Service Desk and Infrastructure teams to identify automation opportunities.
