Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director, Chronic Care Regional Trainer to lead and tailor field-based learning for the Chronic Care Customer Team across regions. You will partner with leadership to execute regional training aligned with national strategy and coach field teams to strengthen clinical, managed care, and commercial acumen.

You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and deliver HQ-approved content, while adapting programs to local market dynamics to achieve meaningful

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in sales, training, marketing, or healthcare field roles.
• Experience in Chronic Care, specialty, or cardiovascular/endocrinology space.
• Proven ability to deliver in-person and virtual training and coach field teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate clinical, product, and disease state training using HQ-approved materials.
• Conduct field-based coaching and ride-alongs to enhance engagement and selling effectiveness.
• Support onboarding of new hires in partnership with sales leadership.
• Partner with leadership to assess training needs across districts and territories.
• Execute national L&D strategy at regional level and adapt content to local dynamics.
