Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director, Learning & Development for Chronic Care Regional Trainer to lead field-based learning across regions. You will deliver clinical and product training, coach field teams, and onboard new hires in collaboration with sales leadership and regional leaders.

The role focuses on execution, coaching, and adapting HQ learning to local markets while aligning with the national strategy. Strong collaboration with marketing, medical, and access teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Life Sciences, or Education preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in sales, training, marketing, or healthcare field roles.
• Experience in Chronic Care, specialty, or cardiovascular/endocrinology space is preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver training (in-person and virtual) and coach field teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate clinical, product, and disease state training using HQ-approved materials.
• Conduct field-based coaching and rides-along to enhance engagement and selling effectiveness.
• Support onboarding of new hires with sales leadership.
• Partner with regional leaders to assess training needs and align L&D plans.
• Execute national L&D strategy at the regional level and provide feedback to HQ.
