Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Management team on active construction sites. This entry-level role focuses on learning project management tasks, documenting actions, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

You will assist with planning, scheduling, and maintaining logs, while upholding safety and quality standards. This position involves travel up to 25% and offers growth within a leader in electrical contracting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 1 year of construction-related experience preferred.
• Combination of training, education, and relevant work experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Oversee project activities as assigned by the Project Manager and ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain change orders, submittal, and document control logs.
• Prepare logs and documentation for construction meetings.
• Create and issue subcontractors’ contracts and maintain Owner/Maintenance Manuals.
• Ensure the project quality control plan is followed.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain correct documentation and drawings.
• Attend meetings with clients and vendors and provide PM support.
