Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking an entry-level Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Management team on active construction sites. The role emphasizes learning the essentials of project management while providing administrative and construction support.

You will manage submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and logs, and help prepare contracts, manuals, and project reports. Strong organizational skills and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational, record-keeping and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred
• Oral and written communication skills required for the position.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
• Able to interact professionally with managers, employees, vendors, clients, and others.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes.
• Oversee project activities as assigned by the Project Manager.
• Maintain change orders, submittal and drawing control logs; prepare logs for meetings.
• Prepare required logs and other project documentation for construction meetings.
• Create and issue Subcontractors' contracts and ensure timely delivery of Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
• Ensure the project quality control plan is followed; assist field personnel as needed.
• Interact with subcontractors to obtain correct Owner and Maintenance Manuals documentation.
• Attend project meetings with clients and subcontractors to provide PM support.
• Create Job Information Sheets and establish Job Files; prepare price change orders and project reports.
• Work with payroll to ensure accurate payroll information.
