Job summary

CAVA is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and uphold our mission and values. You will partner with the General Manager to set action plans, monitor financial metrics, and mentor hourly Team Members to excel in service and efficiency.

You will learn competency-based leadership and operational skills while maintaining standards for quality, cleanliness, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Ability to manage budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing and address team issues to maintain a positive environment.
• Elevate guest experience by upholding high service standards and addressing concerns promptly.
• Assist with financial reporting, performance metrics and budgeting compliance.
• Support food safety training and maintain accurate record-keeping.
