Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager. You will manage schedules, forecasting, labor, inventory, and staff development, ensuring adherence to food quality, service, and cleanliness standards.

You’ll partner with leaders to drive guest satisfaction, profitability, and team performance while modeling exceptional guest service and coordinating financial reporting and budgets.

Qualifications

• 1- 2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience and address customer concerns promptly.
• Lead customer service and promote loyalty strategies.
• Support with financial tracking, cash handling, and budget adherence.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and performance analysis.
