Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) in Austin, TX to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, coaching the crew, and delivering the brand's Southern hospitality.

You will lead shifts, monitor quality and safety, manage labor and costs, hire and train new team members, and cultivate a positive, inclusive team culture. This hands-on role requires clear communication and a passion for fast-paced service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus!).
• People-first leadership style with hands-on approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver great food.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations from front counter to back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence to ensure speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to meet service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
