Job summary

Popeyes is hiring an Assistant General Manager (AGM) in Round Rock, TX to support the Restaurant General Manager and lead daily operations with a hands-on, people-first approach. You’ll coach crew, drive performance, uphold food safety, and deliver the iconic Popeyes guest experience.

This role emphasizes leadership development, teamwork, and a strong focus on profitability, while enabling growth and advancement within the Popeyes family.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management.
• People-first leadership style with a hands-on approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Love for fast-paced environments and great food.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with managing food and labor costs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations from front to back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence to ensure speed, accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies and safety procedures.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
