Popeyes in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help run daily operations, coach crew members, and deliver the legendary Popeyes hospitality. You’ll lead shifts, monitor quality and guest experience, and partner with the GM to optimize staffing and costs.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of restaurant or retail management, strong leadership and communication skills, and a hands-on approach to coaching a fast-paced team. Weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus).
• People-first leadership with hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations from front counter to back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence to ensure speed, accuracy, and guest experiences.
• Coach and develop team members to hit service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
