Popeyes in Houston is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, coach the crew, and deliver the brand's legendary hospitality. The AGM supports the Restaurant General Manager and drives performance, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

This role requires a people-first, hands-on leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills, capable of optimizing labor and food costs while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of restaurant or retail management experience
• People-first leadership style with hands-on approach
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Love for fast-paced environments and great food
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Familiarity with managing food and labor costs

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
