Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) in Texas to lead shifts, coach team members, and ensure top-notch guest experiences in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will assist the General Manager with daily operations, staffing, and performance goals while upholding brand standards and safety procedures. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus!)
• A people-first leadership style with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• A love for fast-paced environments and great food
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Familiarity with managing food and labor costs preferred

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
