Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, coaching the crew, and delivering the brand’s legendary hospitality in San Antonio, TX. You’ll help lead shifts, ensure quality and safety, and drive profitability with a hands-on, people-first leadership approach.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus)
• People-first leadership style with hands-on, lead-by-example approach
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
