Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financials at the housing community. You will manage accounts receivable, delinquency, and move-ins/out, while ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

You will supervise onsite staff, support budgeted revenues, and maintain accurate records. This role requires strong customer service and coordination across leasing, maintenance, and administration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under supervision.
• Manage accounts receivable, rent collections, and posting of payments.
• Monitor delinquency and assist with evictions as needed.
• Support budgeted revenues/expenses and NOI.
• Post charges and perform monthly closings and reporting.
• Maintain records and conduct unit inspections and move-out processing.
• Lead onsite staff, training, coaching, and compliance with policies.
