Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily housing operations under the Community Manager. You will supervise onsite staff, manage leasing activities, and ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes financial oversight, budget adherence, and strong resident relations, with on-site duties including unit inspections, rent collection, and risk management. A HS diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 years housing experience.
• Experience in housing operations, budgeting, and fair housing practices.
• Basic computer and property management software skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and reconcile account receivables accurately and timely.
• Monitor bad debt, issue late notices, and assist with evictions as needed.
• Help the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintain organized records and perform end-of-month closings.
• Walk units, post move-out charges, and manage security deposits.
