Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community on site. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, and ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile payments and income for residents and applicants.
• Monitor and follow up on bad debt; prepare late notices and evictions as needed.
• Help the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting; maintain records.
• Walk and inspect units; post move-in/move-out charges and security deposits.
