Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. You will supervise onsite staff, handle leasing, maintenance coordination, and ensure compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes resident relations, budget adherence, and cash-flow optimization, with emphasis on efficient operation of the property under the Community Manager's supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 years in housing.
• Ability to understand onsite software functions and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Supervise staff, enforce policies, and ensure compliance with safety and fair housing.
• Manage leasing, marketing, and resident relations to maximize occupancy and cash flow.
• Process payments, reconcile accounts, and monitor delinquency closely.
• Prepare monthly closings, reports, and budget variance analyses.
• Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance needs.
