Job summary

Blank Street in Boston is seeking an Operations Manager to lead 5+ stores and the General Managers who lead them. You will hire, coach and develop an A‑team, driving growth and accountability across the area and owning the PnL.

You will report to the Director of Operations and collaborate with the Field Leadership team to scale future leaders while delivering outstanding experiences for teams and customers across our Boston stores.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or another fast‑growing consumer business.
• Experience leading multiple locations (3–10) and developing the managers who run them.
• Passionate about hospitality: creating exceptional customer and employee experiences and setting the bar high.
• Commercial thinker with strong operational and financial judgment, able to read data (P&L, KPI dashboards) and decide next steps.

Responsibilities

• Grow GMs into future leaders through training pathways, 1:1s, and feedback.
• Own talent pipeline: calibrate hiring and promotion decisions and set succession targets.
• Build a aligned area culture: make stores act as one team with a fast‑moving, high‑energy, collaborative vibe.
