Job summary

Blank Street is seeking an Operations Manager to lead an area of 5+ stores and the General Managers who run them. You will hire, coach, and develop a high‑performing A team while owning the area PnL and strategic plans.

This role requires a passion for hospitality, strong leadership, and the ability to drive consistency across busy stores. You will travel regularly between locations, implement scalable processes, and push for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or another fast‑growing consumer business.
• Experience leading multiple locations (3–10) and developing the managers who run them.
• Passionate about hospitality: focus on exceptional customer and employee experiences and high standards in every store.
• Commercial thinker with strong operational and financial judgment; able to read P&L and KPI dashboards.
• People leader with ability to hire, coach, decide and lead through change.
• Strategic planner who can turn quarterly priorities into actionable plans for GMs.
• Excellent communicator, proficient in writing and speaking across tools like Slack, Notion, and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale operations for 5+ stores and GM teams.
• Own area PnL planning, forecasting, and execution across stores.
• Develop, coach, and succession-plan store leaders; build a high-performance area team.
• Drive initiatives, onboarding, and change management across the region.
• Ensure hospitality standards are maintained across all locations and store-level execution.
