Job summary
Harness is seeking an AppSec Sales Engineer to bridge sales and engineering, articulating our AI-Native DevSecOps platform to executive, business, and technical audiences. You will provide critical technical support and lead the technology evaluation stage.
This remote role covers the Southeast region with travel required. You will demonstrate AppSec, API security, SAST/DAST, and runtime protection, translating security needs into practical demonstrations and helping customers accelerate secure
Qualifications
- Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer in SaaS/DevSecOps or similar buyer-focused role.
- Hands-on with modern AppSec practices and tools (API security, SAST/DAST).
- Able to translate security requirements into technical demos and proofs of value.
Responsibilities
- Deliver platform presentations and demos focused on AppSec and runtime protection.
- Evangelize Harness AI-Native DevSecOps and its security capabilities.
- Lead technical engagements, workshops, and POVs to prove value across the SDLC.
