Harness is seeking an AppSec Sales Engineer to bridge sales and engineering, articulating the AI-Native DevSecOps platform to executive, business, and technical audiences. You will provide technical support, drive evaluations, and help customers adopt security products across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS/software sales in the DevSecOps or Cybersecurity domain.
• Hands-on with modern application security practices and tools (e.g., API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Ability to translate customer security requirements into engineering feedback and product requests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class platform presentations and demos focused on AppSec and API/AI Security within the DevSecOps landscape.
• Evangelize Harness AI-Native DevSecOps platform, detailing AppSec, SCA, SAST, DAST and runtime protection benefits.
• Connect business security risks to technical solutions across the SDLC from code to operation.
• Lead complex technical engagements like workshops and POVs to prove value in securing software delivery.
