Job summary
Harness is seeking an AppSec Sales Engineer to be the technical liaison between sales and engineering, articulating the AI-Native DevSecOps platform to executives and technical teams. You will drive technology evaluations and ensure customer success in adopting application and AI security products.
You will manage workshops, deliver compelling demos, and articulate security risk remediation as part of enterprise engagements while aligning with customer security requirements and future product
Qualifications
- Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS/software sales in the DevSecOps or Cybersecurity domain.
- Hands-on experience with modern application security practices and tools (API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, SCA).
- Ability to translate customer security requirements into technical solutions and workflows.
- Willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice, for customer engagements and events.
Responsibilities
- Deliver platform presentations and demos focused on AppSec and Runtime Protection as part of DevSecOps.
- Evangelize benefits of the Harness AI-Native DevSecOps platform, including AppSec and API/AI Security capabilities (SCA, SAST, DAST).
- Connect business security risks to technical solutions within the end-to-end SDLC.
- Drive workshops and POVs to prove Harness value across code to production, including API and AI workflows.
