Job summary

Harness is seeking an AppSec Sales Engineer who bridges sales and engineering for our AI-Native DevSecOps platform. You will articulate product positioning to executives, business, and technical audiences, providing critical technical support and guiding security-focused evaluations.

Responsibilities include delivering world-class demos, evangelizing the platform, and driving engagements that prove value across the SDLC, including API and AI security. Remote role, Southeast region with travel.

Qualifications

Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS/software sales in DevSecOps or cybersecurity.
Hands-on knowledge of modern application security practices and tools.
Ability to translate security requirements to engineering and business teams.

Responsibilities

Deliver platform presentations and demos focused on AppSec and runtime protection.
Evangelize the Harness AI-Native DevSecOps platform and its security capabilities.
Link business security risks to technical solutions in the end-to-end SDLC.
Lead technical engagements, workshops, and POVs to prove value.
