Job summary

Harness is seeking an AppSec Sales Engineer to bridge sales and engineering for our AI-Native DevSecOps platform. You will deliver compelling demos and articulate product positioning for AppSec and runtime protection, driving security value across the SDLC.

Remote role covering the Southeast region with travel as needed. Candidates should have pre-sales or security engineering experience in SaaS, familiarity with SAST/DAST/SCA, API and AI security, and the ability to translate security needs

Qualifications

Pre-sales or security engineering experience in SaaS/software sales.
Hands-on application security practices and tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA.
Experience communicating security requirements to engineering and executives.
Willingness to travel within the Southeast region and beyond as needed.

Responsibilities

Deliver platform presentations and demos focused on AppSec and Runtime Protection.
Evangelize the Harness platform, highlighting AppSec and API Security capabilities including SCA, SAST, DAST, and runtime protection.
Connect business security risks and compliance problems to technical solutions within the end-to-end DevSecOps pipeline.
Drive complex technical engagements, such as workshops and POVs, to prove Harness’s value in securing the entire SDLC from code to operation.
