Juniper Square seeks Forward Deployed Engineers to collaborate directly with GP clients, shaping AI-enabled solutions from discovery through deployment. You will own components end-to-end, delivering working software in close partnership with a world-class engineering team.

The role combines product management and full-stack engineering, with growth into leading engagements and a focus on adoption, reliability, and client success across private markets use cases.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience shipping production software with hands-on AI-enabled applications
• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into requirements and deliver working software
• Full-stack engineering capability across data, services, user interfaces, and infrastructure
• Working knowledge of a major cloud provider, containers, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and production monitoring
• Comfort working directly with external clients or customers
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and depth to understand, debug, and defend what you ship
• Developing product judgment: defining scope for a first release, prioritizing, and knowing when something is done
• Excellent written communication across requirements, documentation, and client-facing updates

Responsibilities

• Work with GP clients to identify workflows where custom agents create leverage
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria
• Carry components through full lifecycle from prototype to deployment
• Design and build agentic systems with retrieval, context design, integration, and observability
• Collaborate with platform and product engineering teams on core-system touchpoints
• Make engineering trade-offs prioritizing speed via reuse without compromising reliability
• Operate deployed solutions and iterate from user feedback
• Produce documentation, train users, and support rollouts to drive adoption
