Job summary

Juniper Square is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to work directly with GP clients, owning delivery end-to-end—from discovery through deployment and ongoing operation.

This AI-first role blends product management and full-stack engineering, requiring independence with strong collaboration from a world-class team. You will translate business needs into requirements and ship solutions that scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience shipping production software end to end, with hands-on AI-enabled applications
• Track record of owning delivery, not just implementation
• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into requirements and deliver working software
• Full-stack engineering across data, services, UI, and infrastructure
• Hands-on infrastructure ownership: cloud, containers, IaC, CI/CD, monitoring
• Experience working with external clients or customers and managing relationships
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and ability to defend shipped work
• Strong product judgment: scope, prioritize, and know when something is done
• Excellent written communication for requirements and client-facing updates

Responsibilities

• Work with GP clients to identify workflows where custom agents create leverage
• Run discovery and translate business problems into clear requirements and acceptance criteria
• Deliver end-to-end solutions from prototype to production rollout
• Design and build agentic systems with context design, tool integration, and observability
• Operate independently with support from platform and product teams
• Make engineering trade-offs to balance speed and reliability, security, and maintainability
• Own deployed solutions through adoption and post-launch iteration
• Produce documentation, train users, and manage rollouts to drive adoption
• Guide less experienced engineers on engagements and mentoring
