Job summary

Juniper Square is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to work directly with GP clients alongside a senior engineer, contributing across the full delivery lifecycle — from discovery to deployment and ongoing operation of AI-powered solutions.

This AI-first engineering role requires hands-on full-stack capabilities, cloud and container experience, and the ability to translate business needs into working software while collaborating with a world-class engineering team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience shipping production software with hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into requirements and deliver working software.
• Full-stack engineering across data, services, UI, and infrastructure.
• Experience with a major cloud provider, containers, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and production monitoring.
• Comfort working directly with external clients or customers in the room, not just in code.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and the ability to debug and defend your work.
• Developing product judgment: defining scope for first release and prioritizing.
• Excellent written communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GP clients to identify workflows where AI agents provide leverage.
• Assist discovery and translate business problems into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Own components through full lifecycle from prototype to deployment and production rollout.
• Design and build agentic systems: retrieval, context design, tool integration, and observability.
• Work hands-on across client-edge solutions and partner with platform/product engineering teams.
• Make engineering trade-offs prioritizing reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Support deployment and post-launch iteration based on user feedback.
• Produce documentation, train users, and support rollouts to drive adoption.
