Job summary

Morley is seeking a remote Lead for Morley’s Appian center of excellence (COE) to guide solution delivery. You will set platform strategy, define architecture and development standards, and help teams deliver scalable, secure Appian applications that meet business needs.

You’ll mentor developers, lead governance and integration efforts, oversee delivery across projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to turn requirements into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years as an applications development leader
• Deep technical experience with the Appian platform, including solution design and established Appian design patterns
• Senior-level experience in software development, technical leadership or solution architecture

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic use of the Appian platform across projects and initiatives
• Define and promote Appian design patterns, development standards and technical best practices
• Guide architecture and design for new applications, integrations and platform optimization
• Guide project scoping, solution planning and development execution with clear direction and realistic estimates
• Mentor developers and build a COE culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Oversee the Appian COE governance, reusable assets and delivery frameworks
• Advise leaders on Appian capabilities, delivery considerations, risks and options
• Guide integrations between Appian and external systems using web services, FTP and JMS
