Job summary

Morley Companies, Inc. seeks a senior Appian COE lead to set strategy, architecture and governance for enterprise Appian delivery. You will guide patterns, standards and secure integrations across programs while mentoring a growing team and aligning with business needs.

You will run COE oversight, manage vendor relationships, and partner with leaders to balance speed and risk in a remote-first environment, based in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead technical teams delivering complex software.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management to align technical work with business goals.
• Experience steering through ambiguity with competing priorities while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead Appian strategy and solution architecture across projects.
• Define and promote Appian design patterns, development standards and best practices.
• Guide architecture and design for new applications, integrations and platform optimization.
• Oversee project scoping, delivery leadership and realistic estimation.
• Mentor developers and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Provide governance, reusable assets and delivery frameworks for the COE.
• Advise leaders on capabilities, risks and options; escalate as needed.
• Ensure secure, reliable integrations with external systems.
