Job summary

ACG is seeking a Claims Support Assistant I to join our Fremont, Michigan team. The role supports the Claims group with analytical, detail-driven work and ensures timely, accurate claim outcomes in an in-office setting that rotates per role needs.

As a hybrid position, you will handle complex payment processes, reconcile deposits, and collaborate across teams to maintain financial integrity and strong customer experience. A high school diploma or 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• OR
• Three years of experience in processing, customer service or business administration.

Responsibilities

• Process paperwork for outgoing check.
• Investigate stop pay requests for accuracy.
• Accurately allocate funds to correct coverage in the appropriate Claim system.
• Review checks and attempt to resolve prior to release of funds to the state for all claim systems, including redeposit funds to claim systems/accounts to avoid improper esheatment.
• Review and research activity associated with positive pay processes.
• Research incoming checks for proper allocation and process deposits including balancing accounts and resolving allocation issues.
• Balance and reconcile all claim deposits.
