Job summary

The Auto Club Group (ACG) Fremont, MI is hiring a Claims Support Assistant I for our Claims team. This role blends analytical work with strong data handling to ensure accurate, timely claim processing and financial reconciliation.

Working in a hybrid office/remote setting, you will process outgoing checks, investigate stop payments, allocate funds in the claim systems, and balance deposits while collaborating with teammates to deliver dependable service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years processing, customer service or business administration preferred.
• Ability to work with claim processing systems and PC software.
• Strong data accuracy and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Process paperwork for outgoing checks.
• Investigate stop pay requests for accuracy.
• Allocate funds to the correct coverage in the claim system.
• Review checks and redeposit funds to avoid escheatment.
• Review and research activity in positive pay processes.
• Research incoming checks for proper allocation and deposits.
• Balance and reconcile all claim deposits.
