Job summary

Crowe is seeking an AI Tech Lead to design, develop, and lifecycle-manage AI agents that accelerate Crowe's Audit services. You’ll work hands-on with Python, own agent workloads, and grow into leading a small team of forward deployed engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications and services.
• 5+ years of professional Python development experience, building enterprise-grade applications and services.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and productionizing AI agents or AI-assisted workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Skills-based architecture, including authoring Skills, instructions, resources, and code.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Git-based version control.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of AI agents and agent-assisted workflows across Crowe's Audit practice.
• Pair with Audit SMEs as a forward deployed engineer, learning workflows and designing agents from real use cases.
• Continue hands-on development in Python, maintaining agent code, prompts, and supporting resources.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication for your agents, balancing delivery with planning.
• Design and develop agents using a modular Skills-based architecture for reusable capabilities.
• Serve as the technical authority for the agent layer, aligning with Audit tech ecosystem.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, observability, and alerting for agents in production.
• Build reusable engineering patterns and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for agent deployment.
• Mentor engineers and lead a growing portfolio of agent initiatives.
• Promote collaboration across Crowe's Audit BU and Studio to share patterns and reduce duplication.
