Job summary

Crowe is seeking an AI Tech Lead within Crowe AI to act as a hands-on technical leader for designing, developing, and managing AI agents for Audit services. You will work closely with Audit practitioners, own the agent lifecycle, and grow into managing a small team of engineers.

Responsibilities include building modular, reusable agent capabilities, maintaining CI/CD in Azure DevOps, and delivering measurable business impact through AI-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of AI agents and agent‑assisted workflows that accelerate the execution of common tasks across Crowe's Audit practice.
• Operate as a forward deployed engineer paired directly with an Audit SME - learning the workflow and designing the agent as it is built.
• Remain hands‑on in development: write, review, test, and maintain substantial Python codebases and the supporting resources that define agent behavior.
• Lead a small team of forward deployed engineers as the portfolio grows.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership, including code and design reviews.
