Crowe is seeking an AI Tech Lead to design, develop, and manage AI agents that accelerate Crowe's Audit services. You will work hands‑on with practitioners, own the agent lifecycle, and mentor a small team of forward deployed engineers.

You will set engineering patterns, build CI/CD in Azure DevOps, and drive measurable ROI across an expanding AI portfolio. You will collaborate across Audit and Studio, ensuring robust observability and high‑quality, scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Clean, modular, production‑grade Python code experience.
• 1+ years designing and productionizing AI agents or AI workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with Skills‑based architecture and agents.
• Experience testing AI systems with evaluators and metrics.
• Advocacy for AI‑assisted software engineering practices and tools.
• Project management experience from scope to delivery.
• Technical leadership including reviews and mentoring.
• Experience deploying AI/ML on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, maintenance of AI agents and workflows.
• Work with Audit SME, sit with practitioners, design agent from workflow.
• Remain hands‑on: write, review, test Python code and prompts.
• Manage scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
• Design agents using a Skills‑based architecture for reuse.
• Serve as technical authority for the agent layer and ecosystem alignment.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting in production.
• Establish reusable patterns and development practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Lead a small team of forward deployed engineers.
• Develop agent evaluation strategies and KPIs.
• Mentor engineers and promote cross‑team collaboration.
• Promote ROI‑driven decisions and data‑led product thinking.
• Explain complex tech to non‑technical leaders and stakeholders.
