Job summary

Crowe AI is seeking an AI Tech Lead to serve as a hands-on technical leader for designing and delivering AI agents that accelerate Crowe's Audit services. You will work closely with Audit practitioners, defining patterns and roadmaps for an expanding portfolio of agent-based workflows.

Expect to stay hands-on with Python code, mentor engineers, and establish scalable, observable patterns. You will drive CI/CD with Azure DevOps and help grow the engineering capability across the Audit technology

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable Python code.
• 1+ years hands-on experience designing, developing AI agents or AI-assisted workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Skills-based architecture for agent design.
• Experience testing AI systems with automated evaluators and regression testing.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience leading engineers, code/design reviews, and driving engineering practices.
• Familiarity with AI tooling and coding assistants to accelerate development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain AI agents and agent workflows for Crowe's Audit practice.
• Work directly with Audit SMEs, learning workflows and translating them into agent behavior.
• Write, review, test Python code and agent resources.
• Manage scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication for agents you own.
• Design agents using a Skills-based architecture for modular, reusable capabilities.
• Serve as the technical authority for the agent layer and align with broader ecosystem.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting for production agents.
• Establish reusable engineering patterns and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Mentor engineers and grow the forward deployed engineering team.
