Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 3 years editorial and 2 years educational assessment experience.
• Strong end-to-end copyediting: spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax.
• Familiar with major style references (Chicago Manual of Style, Gregg Reference Manual, Garner’s Modern English Usage).

Responsibilities

• Implements grammar, spelling, usage, punctuation, syntax, and style per standards.
• Ensures uniformity across assessment components and minimizes errors.
• Applies client style guidelines and queries deviations for best outcomes.
• Understands copyeditor’s scope and flags concerns when needed.
• Proactively seeks learning opportunities to strengthen editorial expertise.
