• Strong end‑to‑end copyediting: spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, diction, usage.
• Familiarity with major style guides (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style, Gregg Reference Manual, Garner’s Modern English Usage).

Responsibilities

• Implements grammar, spelling, usage, punctuation, syntax, and style per standards.
• Ensures uniformity and consistency across assessment components.
• Applies client style guidelines and flags deviations as needed.
• Understands the scope of the copyeditor and when to escalate concerns.
• Pursues learning opportunities to strengthen editorial expertise.
