Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification/on-the-job training.
• Minimum of three years’ editorial experience and two years’ educational assessment experience.
• Strong copyediting proficiency across spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, and usage.
• Familiarity with major style guides (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style, Gregg, Garner’s).

Responsibilities

• Implements grammar, spelling, usage, punctuation, and style per standards.
• Ensures uniformity and consistency across assessment components.
• Applies client style guidelines and queries deviations as needed.
• Leads editor-related activities and coordinates with multiple departments.
• Seeks learning opportunities to strengthen editorial expertise and stay current with best practices.
