Mews is seeking a PayOps Analyst to be the operational heartbeat of our Payment Operations. You’ll monitor payout flows, manage incidents end to end, and derive insights to keep merchants paid accurately and on time.

This AI-forward role values quick thinking under pressure, proactive system improvements, and collaboration across teams. You’ll use tools like Claude to automate admin and scale performance while owning runbooks and playbooks.

Formación

• 6+ years in payments, operations, or fintech.
• Hands-on with PSPs (Stripe/Adyen) and related providers.
• Strong understanding of card acquiring, payouts, and authorisation flows.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven incident investigation.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack and dashboards; Power BI/Databricks a plus.
• Clear, effective communication across teams and partners.
• Regulated financial services experience is helpful.
• Strong PSP technical experience is a priority.
• AI fluency: using Claude or similar tools in daily work.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor payout timeliness, authorisation success rates, SLA breaches, dispute readiness, and fee accuracy across Stripe and Adyen.
• Log and manage incidents in the Jira Service Portal with ownership, SLA tracking, and end-to-end resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring failures and feed insights to the PayOps Manager.
• Support operational readiness checklists for PSP onboarding, new markets, and feature launches.
• Coordinate with Customer Support, Product, FinTech R&D, FinCrime, and PSPs to resolve escalations.
• Prepare weekly KPI reports and monthly PSP/vendor performance summaries.
• Maintain the runbook library for recurring issues and standard tasks.
• Flag recurring incidents into the Operational Risk Register for governance review.
• Track PSP/vendor SLA adherence and provide metrics to the PayOps Manager.
• Draft first-line merchant communications for outages or incidents for approval.
• Validate data quality during incident handling and distinguish issues from API lag.
