Job summary

Mews seeks a PayOps Analyst to monitor payment flows, manage incidents end to end, and deliver insights that keep merchants paid accurately and on time. You’ll spot issues quickly, improve processes, and leverage AI tools to reduce manual tasks while increasing proactive operations.

You’ll collaborate across teams, build runbooks, and contribute to scalable, reliable payment operations in a fast-growing hospitality tech company.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of payments/ops/fintech experience.
• Hands-on PSP experience (Stripe/Adyen); Airwallex helps.
• Strong card acquiring and payout knowledge.
• Data-driven problem solving and analytics.
• Experience with dashboards and collaboration tools.
• Clear, effective cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor payout timeliness and authorization success across PSPs.
• Log and manage incidents in Jira; ensure ownership and SLA tracking.
• Conduct root cause analysis and feed insights to PayOps Manager.
• Support readiness checklists for onboarding and launches.
• Coordinate with Support, Product, FinTech, and PSPs to resolve escalations.
• Prepare weekly KPI reports and monthly performance summaries.
• Maintain runbooks for recurring issues and tasks.
• Flag incidents to the Operational Risk Register for governance.
