Job summary
Harness is seeking an AppSec Sales Engineer to bridge sales and engineering for its AI-Native DevSecOps platform. This role delivers technical demonstrations, supports the evaluation phase, and helps customers adopt AppSec and AI security products.
The ideal candidate has pre-sales SaaS experience in DevSecOps or cybersecurity, hands-on API/AI security knowledge, and the ability to translate security needs into engineering requirements. Remote work available with a preference for the Tampa area.
Qualifications
- Pre-Sales Engineer experience in SaaS/software sales in DevSecOps or cybersecurity.
- Hands-on with API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, SCA.
- Understanding of cloud-native application security and GenAI risks.
- Willing to travel for customer engagements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver platform presentations and demos focused on AppSec and runtime protection.
- Evangelize the Harness platform, including SCA, SAST, DAST and runtime protection.
- Connect security risks and compliance problems to technical solutions in the DevSecOps pipeline.
- Drive complex engagements, such as workshops and POVs, to prove value.
