Job summary

Asset Living in the Los Angeles area seeks a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration and risk management to ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of affordable housing experience, on-site leadership skills, and the ability to develop staffing and leasing strategies while delivering excellent resident service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or related housing experience.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred in affordable housing programs.
• Basic computer skills and on-site software proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager.
• Supervise staff to ensure compliance with Asset policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Plan and execute marketing and leasing strategies to maximize occupancy.
• Address resident concerns and promote retention programs.
• Head the emergency team and coordinate safety and risk management.
