Job summary

Milliman's Property & Casualty internships invite motivated students for Summer 2027. Over 10–12 weeks you’ll assist pricing and reserving analyses for diverse insurance products, gaining hands-on experience on real projects and networking with experts.

You’ll work with Excel, R, Python, SQL, VBA, and PowerBI, with mentorship and opportunities to present to teams. Roles may be remote, hybrid, or onsite across U.S. offices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree with at least one semester remaining.
• At least one actuarial exam passed at application time.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Office tools.
• Experience with programming or statistical tools (R, Python, SAS, VBA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with project teams on data analyses and contribute to client deliverables.
• Perform technical review and checking of analyses and outputs.
• Develop professional skills in communication, task management, and presentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues at multiple levels, including senior consultants.
• Receive mentorship and actionable feedback to support career development.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and intern social events.
• Build strong technical skills in Excel, R, Python, SQL, VBA, PowerBI, etc.
