Job summary

Milliman invites actuarial interns for Summer 2027 across U.S. P&C practices. Over 10-12 weeks, you’ll assist with pricing and reserving analyses for auto, homeowners, mortgage and more, gaining real project experience and professional growth.

You’ll work with teams, develop Excel, R, Python, SQL, VBA and PowerBI skills, and receive mentorship to support your actuarial career path. Eligible candidates must be pursuing a quantitative degree and have at least one actuarial exam passed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s in actuarial science, math, stats, economics or related field with at least one semester remaining.
• At least one actuarial exam passed at time of application.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Office tools.
• Experience with programming or statistical tools (R, Python, SAS, VBA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with project teams on data analyses and client deliverables.
• Develop professional skills in communication, task management and presentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues at all levels, including senior consultants and principals.
• Receive mentorship and actionable feedback for career development.
