Job summary

Milliman’s Property & Casualty practices welcome motivated students to join us as Actuarial Interns for Summer 2027. Over 10–12 weeks, you’ll learn about pricing and reserving analyses across auto, homeowners, mortgage, workers compensation, and more with real actuarial projects.

You’ll enhance Excel, R, Python, SQL, VBA, and PowerBI skills while collaborating with mentors and attending trainings and networking events for interns.

Qualifications

• Actuarial internship candidate with a quantitative degree and at least one semester remaining.
• Experience with MS Excel and MS Office tools preferred.
• Some programming or statistics exposure (R, Python, SAS, VBA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with project teams on data analyses and client deliverables.
• Perform technical reviews and checks on analyses and outputs.
• Develop professional skills in communication, task management, and presenting.
• Collaborate with colleagues at all levels, including senior consultants.
• Receive mentorship and actionable feedback for career development.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and intern social events.
