Job summary

Milliman’s U.S. Property & Casualty actuarial internship invites motivated students to contribute to pricing and reserving analyses during a 10–12 week Summer 2027 program.

You will work on data analyses, create client deliverables, and develop professional skills while collaborating with senior consultants and mentors. Opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Excel, R, Python and more.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related quantitative field, with at least one semester of school remaining.
• At least one actuarial exam passed at the time of application.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Experience with programming or statistical tools (R, Python, SAS, VBA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project teams on data analyses and support client deliverables.
• Develop professional skills such as communication, task management and presenting.
• Collaborate with colleagues at all levels and receive mentorship and feedback.
• Participate in meetings, trainings and intern social events.
